Does CariBoard take a cut of my transactions?
No. Customers pay your payment processor (Fygaro, PayPal, bank transfer, or cash) directly. Cariboard's free and paid plans only cover the platform itself: listings, dashboard, customer database, and analytics.
Do I need a payment processor to start?
No. You can publish a listing without a payment method and let customers contact you. Add a payment method when you're ready to take a deposit or full payment online. Most merchants do this in step 2 of their first listing.
What if my customers don't trust online payments?
Many providers in our region accept bank transfer or cash. Cariboard supports both. You can add manual payment methods alongside (or instead of) card processors. Customers see the options you allow.
Can I use Cariboard alongside Facebook / Instagram / WhatsApp?
Absolutely. Most of our merchants do. Cariboard becomes the place where the real transaction happens (bookings, payments, customer history) while social is your top-of-funnel marketing.
